Samantha is both a trained actor and freelance makeup artist. With a strong background in theatrical performance and design, she has been on both sides of the spectrum as cast and crew.

 

Forever an avid fan of playing make believe and dressing up, it wasn't until 2009 that Samantha wholeheartedly fell in love with makeup artistry (in particular, fantasy and special effects), and the creative freedom that came along with it. Growing in her craft as a makeup artist, Samantha is grateful to have been able to work with numerous theatre companies and artists around Baltimore. She has previously worked with Glass Mind Theatre Company, Strand Theatre Company, EMP Collective, Baltimore Rock Opera Society, as well as numerous productions at CCBC Essex. Not only limited to the stage, Samantha also enjoys lending her talents to films, photoshoots and special events around MD, PA and DC. Some of her more recent film work can be seen in Sherry Wolf's new reality show, Sherry Wolf, Inc., Christian Grier's Goodbye Charm City, James Durham's THIRST film series and many more. Some of her more recent print work can also be found in ManneqART's 2016 calendar. 

 

In January 2016, Samantha received the B.U.L.S.H.I.T (Baltimore United Local Stage & Hidden Independent Theatre) Award for Best Hair & Makeup Design in Glass Mind Theatre's The Pretties. 

 

Also employed by Airbrush Makeup by Ariel and New Style Independent Pictures, as well as trained in the art of airbrushing by makeup artist Ariel Lewis,  Samantha will also work weddings, proms, live/special events and more.
